Fusilli – Hot Pepper, Garlic and Parsley

Fusilli, durum wheat semolina and spices, 500 g (lb 1.102) and 250 g (lb 0.551)

Fusilli Romeo are bronze drawn and slowly dried at low temperatures, realised without colourings or flavourings, using only first quality durum wheat semolina and selected spices. Their thin thickness guarantees a short cooking time.

Fusilli Romeo with “Hot Pepper, Garlic and Parsley” are particularly indicated for being dressed with EVO Oil to have the classical “Garlic, Oil and Hot Pepper” pasta, with no need to brown garlic in the pan, obtaining in this way a more digestible dish; but these Spiced Fusilli combine very well with a simple tomatoes sauce (fresh or puree) or with the “Amatriciana “ sauce, too.

The cooking time can vary from 4 to 6 minutes; for the genuine artisan pasta, for the fact that there are not standardised processes of production and that the mix of semolina varies according to the durum wheat semolina farmers that give use the raw material, it's advisable to have a direct cooking test by tasting pasta at the beginning of the minutes indicated as the cooking time (from 4 minutes for Fusilli).
